Villaggio Italiano Restaurant

The Villaggio Italiano Restaurant

New for 2009 is the Villaggio Italiano Restaurant on the beach. This restaurant is operaterd by the same family that operates Vito's, only Villaggio Italiano is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Villaggio Italiano Coffee Bar

To start off, Villaggio Italiano serves specialty coffee drinks and pastries in the morning. This is a huge reason to visit the restaurant if you are a Starbucks fan. The coffee drinks are excellent and very much appreciated by coffee lovers in Punta Mita.

Villaggio Italiano Breakfast Area

Adjacent to the coffee bar is a small area set up with table where breakfast is served. Pizza, sandwiches and other treats can be consumed here during the day, as well. I especially enjoy the omelets at Villagio Italiano. You can build them with any number of ingredients and they are served all day.

The Villagio Italiano Brick Oven

Of coarse Villaggio Italiano features an authentic pizza oven that generate excellent pizza and other treats.

Villaggio Italiano Wine Celler

But, it is the main area of the restaurant that tells you that you are in for a very special treat. Like Vito's, the restaurant has a very unique Italian flare to it.

The wine celler features hundreds of bottles of excellent wines and wine is available by the glass or bottle when dining here.

The View at Villaggio Italiano

The first thing one notices is the excellent views from the restaurant. Being located right on the oceanfront affords a wonderful and relaxing environment.

Stairs to the Veranda

Dining is found at ocean level and also up the stairs to the veranda where he views are superb.

The View From the Bar

The bar at Villaggio Italiano offers excellent views of the ocean and surrounding area and is a great place to enjoy a cocktail before or after dinner.

Mexico or Italy?

The overall ambiance of the restaurant is sophisticated and decidedly Italian. While the menu has a number of dishes that are not Italian, the restaurant exudes its owners heritage.

Dining Tables and Beach Sitting Area

The dining tables are set up around the central beach area and are inviting to guests to enjoy the comfortable, yet elegant surroundings.

Enjoy the Sunset with a Cocktail and Your Feet in the Sand

Dinner at Villaggio Italiano is an experience worth having. The service is sophisticated, the food is excellent and the ambiance superb. You will surely enjoy whatever meal you have at Villaggio Italiano
