Tacos on the Street

For years La Cruz has been known for their "Tacos on the Street" Folks from all over Puerto Vallarta would come to La Cruz to experience the wonderful carne asada tacos and other treats. The tacos were so successful that the family has opened a second location in Sayulita. This year, they opened a third restaurant in Punta Mita. Yes, those are dining tables in the street.

Grilling the Carne Asada

The carne asada is grilled over an open fire and the smoke penetrates the restaurant making anyone within smelling distance hungry for a taco. The families that operate this restaurant are super friendly and appreciative of your business.

The Dining Room For Tacos on the Street

If you do not want to enjoy your tacos on the street, this restaurant has a wonderful dining room that you may use. The restaurant serves beer, but if you want to take your own beverage, no problem. We always take a bottle of wine and some glasses and have a great time.

4 Street Tacos $42 pesos (About $3.60)

Tacos on the Street offers tacos, casadillas and papas (a baked potato stuffed with carne asada, cheese, and vegetables.) While it is a limited menu, you will be back and back again. These tacos are to die for!!!! And, don't worry about the vegetables, they are perfectly safe to eat. This restaurant rocks and they could charge 5 times as much and still be crowded. Don't miss it.

Here is how to find it. Leave El Anclote Condos through the main gate. Turn right and walk to the very first block. Turn right and walk to the very first street. You will see Tacos on the Street right there. Enjoy!
